1 / 3Domino Park
đ Brooklyn, NY
Waterfront park in Williamsburg with playgrounds, Domino Square seasonal ice skating rink, dining at Stretch Pizza and Frita Batidos, and panoramic Manhattan skyline views. Free entry. All ages.
I planned our first warm summer evening in Williamsburg at Domino Park. And we were not disappointed at all. On a cloudless evening, we settled down at the waterfront with our Neapolitan pizzas from Roberta's Pizza around the corner and enjoyed a perfect sunset. The view of Manhattan is magnificent. The sugar refinery and the old cranes are perfect Instagram subjects. Street musicians play throughout the park, and on certain weekend evenings, there are chilling DJ sets on the waterfront. There are also yoga classes starting early in the Morning which you can book.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teens who want a scenic waterfront destination rather than a traditional play park. The skyline views at sunset are the headline reason to visit. The playground section suits younger kids, and the seasonal skating rink adds a winter draw.

âAnother great place to see the Manhattan skyline. Lots of benches and grassy areas to sit and chill. The fairly quiet areas are in the middle, the south area has a dog park, ball courts and the one near the north has a playground full of screaming kids. Not that accessible from the train (7-8 block walk), but the bus runs by Kent Ave.â

âThe views of the city and waterfront are amazing, the park is clean and well-designed, and there are plenty of places to relax or take a walk. Great for hanging out with friends or just enjoying some fresh air.â

âPretty park with nice views of the financial district and lower Manhattan. Easy to get to from the subway. Bundle up on cold days, since it can get chilly by the water.â

Overview
Domino Park runs along the Williamsburg waterfront with distinct zones â a playground area to the north, quieter seating and lawn sections in the middle, a dog park and ball courts to the south, and Domino Square hosting a seasonal ice skating rink. Stretch Pizza and Frita Batidos are on-site. The Manhattan financial district and lower skyline views are the park's signature draw, best at sunset.
