Fremont Park playground in Glendale features three separate structures — one tall-slide zone for bigger kids, two for younger children — plus a rock climbing wall, mulch flooring, and grill areas.
Fremont Park is a wonderful place to visit with your family. The playground is a great attraction for kids, and there's plenty of space for everyone to run around and enjoy themselves.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with mixed-age children who can split across the toddler and big-kid zones. The mulch surface is a genuine plus for tumbles. Families with very small children should keep them away from the rock area near the play zone.

“Love this playground. I did hear that they will be upgrading the entire park. Hope it turns out better than it is now.”

“Seems like a great park.... once they open. You have to zoom in to block on the playground to know it's closed”

“Great playground for kids. There are 3 different playground structures. One is for bigger kids as the slides are quite tall. The two others seem to be targeting younger kids. There is also a rock climbing structure as well. The ground is mulch, which I think is a plus because you don't end up with sand in your kids' shoes. The one downside is the swing sets are missing some swings, there should be a total of 8, but I guess some were damaged and removed but never replaced. Now there are only 3 left.”

Overview
Three playground structures serve different age groups: a tall-slide tower for bigger kids and two smaller structures for toddlers and young children. A dedicated rock climbing feature and mulch ground cover add variety. Grill areas and pram-friendly paths make it a full park outing. Equipment availability can vary — check conditions before heading out.
