Two play areas serve different age groups: a smaller open-air playground and a larger structure under a full canopy. An exercise area and a covered pavilion with tables complete the site.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with kids who prefer quieter, less crowded parks. The canopy playground is the main draw on sunny days. Parents of infants should plan around the lack of a diaper changing station in the bathrooms.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Head directly to the larger canopy playground on hot days - the smaller play zone has no shade.

⏰Bring a portable changing mat; the bathrooms lack a diaper station.

🎟️The pavilion tables work well for packed lunches - no food vendors are nearby.

“Nice little park that is never busy. It has a small playground which doesn’t have any shade, and a larger playground with a large canopy. There is also an exercise area and pavilion with tables. Only downside was the bathrooms crawling with lots of bugs and no diaper changing station.”

Overview

This Jones Maltsberger Road playground offers two distinct zones - a smaller, unshaded playground and a larger structure sheltered under a wide canopy - giving families options based on how much sun they want to deal with. An exercise station and a covered pavilion with picnic tables make it suitable for longer visits. The park is consistently uncrowded, which appeals to families who prefer a relaxed pace.
