Regal Promenade
š Rolling Hills Estates, CA
Regal Promenade features leather recliner seating, wheelchair-accessible auditoriums, pram-friendly access, and an on-site concession cafe. Parking available adjacent to the complex.
GOOD NEWS! Update 12-21-23 the recliner seats have been recovered!!! . Such a huge improvement as they were getting pretty worn, as mentioned in other reviews. As of December 2023 almost all theaters are done. We just enjoyed a movie and loved the recliner seats. Due to recent issues with the parking structure currently there's only one entrance open to the mall parking next to Norris theater . Please shop local and support local businesses. This theater needs our help . Great theater with leather recliner chairs. Very friendly service. Security is tight, which is nice.
š Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a comfortable, accessible cinema experience with leather recliners and guaranteed wheelchair or pram access. Seating upgrades completed in late 2023 have resolved earlier wear complaints in most auditoriums. Bring a light jacket ā theaters run consistently cool.

āDefinitely a must go to Regal theater. The staff is great and the popcorn was so good. Freshly made and well seasoned. This is coming from somebody who's been to Regal locations all over the US and its territories. This location definitely needs a bright orange Regal theater sign. It sure seemed like a ghost town when walking from the parking structure to the theater.ā

āTheir seating is always top-notch with their cushy recliners and wheelchair spots reserved, theaters are consistently kept cool, and staff are surprisingly friendly for probably getting paid around minimum wage. Food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in a theater. This is the place to be if you want a stellar experience watching the newest movies.ā

āIt's a very calm and quiet place but also it was a holiday so perhaps it's normally busier. They had nice decorations around to take some holiday photos. The environment was friendly. I was very happy to see so many POC it made me feel welcomed. I never have before but we were at the cinema to see "The Color Purple," movie. So the atmosphere was very happy, cheery and united. It felt beautiful. The movie was awesome. They were many shops but they weren't open due to the holiday. āā There's an ice skating rink on the first floor towards the center of the shopping center. - The was an available Restaurant open for dining on the first floor on the opposite end. Then young lady who was the hostess that afternoon was polite, super sweet and had great customer service. She gave people directions to the movies theaters. āāāāā Cinema Staff: Seemed Polite/No amazing customer service but not bad customer service either. āāāā Down points: The seats worked well and lounged back although we my party and I sat in row H at the top the leather seat were peeling everywhere. Perhaps they're older. They were cracking. You could tell when they turned the lights on or when I shined a light to look for something I had dropped. āā They didn't look like the websites profile seats. āāā The Movie The actual Color Purple Movie was incredible. Would definitely watch multiple times. āāāāā Getting to the Cinema/Theater: ⢠Directory near restaurant opposite wind of cinema/theater ⢠Available parking garage ⢠Elevators on premises (quickest/nearest option) ⢠Escalators on premises (all weren't working) ⢠Stairs on premises if you want a little work out ⢠Wheelchair accessible In Theater/Cinema: ⢠Bathroom near entrance towards the right ⢠Concession stand towards the left upon entering ⢠Photo booth towards the right - I think there were a few games in that area as wellā

Overview
Regal Promenade is a modern multiplex in Rolling Hills Estates with leather recliner seating across its auditoriums, wheelchair-accessible entry and seating, and pram-friendly aisles. Seating was reupholstered across most theaters in late 2023. The concession stand offers popcorn, drinks, and snack options. Use the mall parking entrance next to the Norris theater as the main parking structure has limited access.
