1 / 2Rodney Playground Center
π Brooklyn, NY
A two-part Brooklyn playground featuring shaded game tables, built-in bench games like Chinese Checkers, and mature trees that create a peaceful atmosphere despite nearby highway traffic.
Beautiful little park - you barely know the busy road is there. There are plenty of Cheβs tables and games built into the benches (Chinese Chequers etc) and little books throughout the park to relax in. Close to the childrenβs playground but not so close that itβs noisy or anything. Perfect for reading or catching up with loved ones.
π Family Action Verdict
This playground center works best for families with older children who can enjoy the built-in games and appreciate the peaceful, shaded environment. The two-part park design separates active play from quieter game areas, though parents should be aware that one reviewer noted concerns about adult visitors that may make supervision important.

βAnother two part urban park. The other side has the children's playground equipment. This side has the game tables and benches under incredible shade trees which also dampen the noise from the highway. There is no signs indicating what the three steel columns are.β
