1 / 2Santa Clarita Aquatics Center
📍 Canyon Country, CA
Popular Santa Clarita aquatic facility with a large lap and diving pool, water slides, and a dedicated splash area for younger children. Staff conduct regular safety breaks and enforce swim tests for diving boards.
Very nice, clean cheaper option for the summer. The summer pass was affordable. for adults was 68$ and for kids was 47$ valid from June 12 until September 4th. You can also purchase day passes with 7$/day for adults and 5$/day for kids. I love the place because is small and has a slide, a little kids pool and a recreation pool for older kids and adults. There are 3 diving boards as well, but you need to pass the swim test with a lifeguard. Kids all ages can have fun. They also have water splashing, covered picnic area and a lot of lifeguards. The schedule is from 12:30 to 4:30pm. Every hour is a safety check for the little kids pool and slide. In the same facility is also an olympic pool for laps. For me with 3 kids 5,9,12 years old was the perfect place for the summer.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with a range of swimming abilities. Confident swimmers head straight for the diving boards after passing the swim test; younger or non-swimming kids stay comfortable in the splash zone. The bring-your-own-food policy lets families control costs and stay longer.

“Very nice pool. I dislike taking my daughter to public pools for personal reasons, but this one is great. They have a large pool for swimming & jumping but you have to do a swim test to do that. The little pool seems more like a splash pad, but it’s great my daughter is 3 & she had a great time. I also like how every hour or so the life guards take everyone out of the pool and check the equipment.”

“Disclaimer. Photos taken in mid January after a month of historic atmospheric rivers and bomb cyclones. There is work being done on both big pools. I recommend looking at other in season photos for a better idea of how dang cool and fantastic this facility is. Amazing. Profoundly impressed with what the city has done and is doing at the Aquatic Center. Blown away. GOOD JOB Santa Clarita!!”

“$6 adults $4 kids You can bring your own food. Nice plus! Advise you bring your chairs and or pic nic blanket for space In the grass area. People camp out everywhere searching for shade. It’s open from 12-4pm They close the pool in small intervals for about 10 minutes for cleaning, so having a shaded spot is nice during these cleanings and a good opportunity to feed the kiddos.”

Overview
Santa Clarita Aquatics Center runs multiple pools catering to different skill levels. The main pool has diving boards — kids must pass a lifeguard swim test to use them. Water slides are a consistent draw, and the splash pad area works well for younger or less-confident swimmers. Cleanliness is a recurring theme in reviews. Guests can bring their own food and drinks. Bring chairs or a blanket for the grassy areas — shade fills up fast on busy days.
