1 / 3Santa Clarita Skate Park
đ Canyon Country, CA
City-maintained outdoor skate park at George A. Caravalho Sports Complex featuring 9-foot and 6-foot clover bowls, a 10-foot square bowl, U-shaped half pipe, and snake runs with street obstacles. Free entry with on-site parking.
I'm shocked. Shocked a city would build a skate park that has this much potential for injury. I say that as an endorsement not a negative. I am way too old to drop in to almost any of these areas but wow, good on you SC, if I was 13 I'd live here. Understand we have had historic rains so my photos are a little dreary but I can't wait to come back in good weather and watch kids try to keep their arms and legs unbroken. Very cool skate park. Way to go City of Santa Clarita.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with intermediate to advanced skateboarders, BMX riders, or scooter riders who are ready for bowl and transition skating. The city-maintained facility is clean and safe for the skill level it targets.

âClean, friendly environment for the most part. The city has scored a 10 here. It is a kid and teenager friendly environment where youngsters can, practice, and improve skills.â

âI have mixed opinions on this park. Initially it appears to be fantastic, but upon closer inspection there's not much here that I like to skate. The majority of the park is taken up by big bowls or snakeruns. Then there's a lot of wastes concrete in the form of big bleacher style blocks. When it comes down to it I only really skated the brick quarter, the baby quarter and a flat ledge. Which is fine, happy with that. But for a mid 30's manual curb skater, this ain't the park for me. #1000skateparkchallenge #cementuriansâ
