By far our favorite play place! First off, my daughter is 10 months and as a crawler it’s so important that the areas she is playing in is clean (iykyk) and it’s always SO clean when we come. Also there are so many options for her to choose from when it comes to play. I feel very comfortable wherever she roams that she will find something on her age level to play with, even though the majority is geared towards toddler age. Also such a plus that they have a yuk bucket!! I’m so excited for her to able to attend some of the classes soon as well!! You can tell the place is run by moms/teachers! 🤍👏🏼

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers aged 0-5 who value developmental programming over open-play chaos. The teacher-run format means every activity has a purpose and age-appropriate pacing. Crawling babies are specifically mentioned as safe on the consistently spotless floors.

What a fantastic kids play place in the back of back in time, farmingdale. The owner taylor did such a great job building this place and making it a great place for kids to play and learn. They have a small classroom area which has a play village attached to it. Inside the village they have a diner, market place, doctors office, and all sorts of toys, puzzles, and games. They offer both open play and classes at location. Within the location they also have Elises nieces cafe, which features delicious coffees and desserts. Our 3 year old son loved this place and would highly recommend for kids 0-5.

We recently had our daughter ‘s third birthday party at Schoolhouse Play & Cafe and highly recommend it . Taylor and her staff handled everything and made the party planning experience so easy . The decorations matched our theme perfectly and Taylor and her team were very attentive with our guests and checked in with us throughout the party. The space had so many cute themes and toys to play with and was very clean. My daughter and her friends had so much fun. It was a memorable experience.

As a teacher myself, finding a place that is fun and educational for my 2 year old was top priority and schoolhouse is amazing and everything I was looking for. Everything they do is so well thought out and age appropriate with amazing pacing to every craft, activity, read aloud and song. I also love and appreciate how they offer classes on the weekends. The teachers are so engaging and sweet and everything is clean and cute! My son loves his time at schoolhouse 🩵
