1 / 2Sea Bird Aviary
đ The Bronx, NY
Walk-through exhibit within Bronx Zoo featuring indoor and outdoor netted spaces where sea birds fly freely overhead. Central pool hosts penguins and diving water birds. Knowledgeable zookeepers available throughout.
This part of the Bronx Zoo is one of my favorites. All the signage and zoo keepers that are around can help you and inform you about the specific animals in that enclosure. All the beautiful birds are amazing to go and see. Currently the Zoo is closed because of Covid-19.
đ Family Action Verdict
A must-see exhibit for any Bronx Zoo visit â the walk-through format where birds fly overhead delivers a more immersive experience than standard behind-glass exhibits. The penguin pool reliably holds children's attention. Toddlers and older kids both respond well to birds at close range.
