Bronx playground with excellent facilities including sprinklers and age-separated play areas, though parents need to stay vigilant due to safety concerns with unsupervised teens and smoking.
I enjoy going to the park with the kids. For the most part the play ground is clean. The sprinklers works properly and the kids always enjoys it in the summer. The park have 2 bathrooms. I never had to used any of them before so I dont know the condition of the inside. They have swings for toddlers and the older children. Overall the park is okay and is in good condition. They have 2 jungle gyms, one for the younger kids and one for the older ones. Next to the park is a nice open area that people used to bbq or even have their birthday party celebration. Unfortunately, alot of smoking takes place in the park by older folks, especially men. They will come and sit on the benches in the back of the park, play music and smoke. It is fine to gather there and play music but not to smoke. I think it is distateful and they should gather somewhere else if they are going to smoke. Sadly, where they like to gather has a small jungle gym for the toodlers and I barely let my kids go over to that area because of them. I wouldn't say I feel unsafe its more of comfort and health issue. No Smoking should be done in the park, go else where. Overall, I would say the park itself is a great park. But the people who use it, if they don't take care of it, the place will soon be run down and of no use to the community.

“Always CLEAN with the exception of residents dumping their GARBAGE/TRASH AROUND THE 30 ACRE PARK..SMH BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS BEAUTIFUL✌❤ The park is great for exercise. And your able too walk around an view all the different birds an wildlife.”

“Nice park. There area swings, 2 play structures, 1 big and 1 small, chess tables, and a ton of open space. The park is not enclosed so there are multiple ways they can get out. Helpful to keep in mind if you have a toddler who likes to run off.”

“Very big playground. Sprinklers, big basketball court, lots for kids to do and have fun. Only problem is the kids that go there usually aren't accompanied by adults and do whatever they want. They will throw a water balloon right by you too.”
