1 / 3Taft Park
đ Applewood, CO
Small recently renovated park with playground equipment, public art, a gazebo, and a bridge over a small brook. Lush green grass and a quiet neighborhood setting make it a calm local escape.
Small with luscious green grass. Quietly located within neighborhood. IT DOES NOT HAVE A TENNIS COURT.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for young children and families seeking a calm, uncrowded neighborhood park. The brook and bridge add natural exploration for curious kids. The small size means it's easy to supervise young ones without much effort.

âGreat Lil Park they have here. Came here on a snowy day to snowboard but they have a gazebo and play ground too. The neighbors to the park came out and watched us for a little while and at first I thought they'd kick us out but they were all so nice! The bridge that crosses the little brook made for a great run-in for the handrail that we were hitting. I hope I don't get in trouble for posting this, but the handrail was perfectly set up to snowboard on! One of the neighbors came out and gave us some homemade bread! Bless them.â

Overview
Taft Park received a recent renovation adding public art installations, updated playground equipment, and a pedestrian walkway. A gazebo provides covered gathering space, and a small bridge crosses a brook running through the park. The grounds are well-maintained with dense green grass. It's a quiet neighborhood pocket park â small in footprint and thoughtfully upgraded. Reviewers have visited in all seasons, including winter snow days.
