1 / 2The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum
📍 Bridgeport, NY
Outdoor aerial adventure park with 190 treetop platforms, 44 ziplines, and 15 trails across 6 difficulty levels. Ages 5 and up. Best for confident kids aged 9 and above. Glow events, birthday packages, and group reservations available.
What a great hidden gem! I took a 13yr, 15yr, and 2 17yr boys. They enjoyed it. There were courses for every age and skill level. I recommend bringing or purchasing gloves. They were tired at the end. They challenged themselves, and I didn't have to hear "I'm bored". Ziplining for the win! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have a Planetarium in the Museum. They will be my next Discovery purchase if we don't revisit the Adventure Park first! Thank you, Groupon, for the suggestion! The only disappointment was the restroom situation. The Museum would not allow the Adventure Park patrons to use the facilities. The Adventure Park had port-a-potties and that's a HARD NO for me. It was a great experience overall.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Strongest match for tweens and teens who want a genuine physical challenge — most families with kids aged 9 and up spend 3–4 hours completing all courses. Younger children at 5–8 can participate on the easier trails with patient staff support, and reviews confirm instructors work hard to build nervous kids' confidence.

“What an amazing adventure park. 5 different courses of varying difficulty and all are so much fun. The elements are creative and challenging, but rewarding. Super impressed with the length and quality of the courses. My 15 year old daughter and I spent almost 4 hours here and completed all the courses. The best part was the team members though. Each person was kind, helpful, and genuine. We've been to about 15 different adventure parks around the US and this was by far our favorite.”

“Brought my 9 year old daughter and her friend for our first visit. The Adventure Park is extremely organized, patient with new climbers, safe and SO much fun. My daughter was nervous at first, but the instructors were so amazing and she gained confidence and didn't want to leave after 3 hours. We will definitely be back!”
