Overview
The U.S. National Whitewater Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and one of the largest outdoor recreation facilities in the Southeast. Activities span whitewater rafting on a man-made river channel, rock climbing walls, zip lines, mountain biking, hiking trails, flatwater kayaking, and seasonal ice skating. Over 60 races and competitions run annually, plus major festivals including Tuck Fest. On-site restaurants and food service operate daily. Summer camps for youth run June through August.
