Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood

“Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood is simply a cinematic experience in the Heart of Hollywood. Located in the vibrant and bustling CityWalk Hollywood, Universal Cinema AMC is an exceptional destination for movie lovers. This modern theater combines advanced technology, upscale comfort, and an immersive movie experience, making it a top destination for both locals and tourists. Universal Cinema AMC is equipped with the latest in digital projection and sound technology. Featuring IMAX and Dolby Cinema options, the theater provides viewers with unsurpassed picture and sound quality, ensuring every film is presented in the best possible way. The theater also boasts spacious and comfortable recliner seats, providing an optimal viewing experience that rivals any home theater setup. During our last trip to Universal Studios Hollywood, we visited this theater and watched "Zootopia 2" in Auditorium 10. Although this auditorium featured AMC Signature Recliner seats, they were far more comfortable than the seating in any AMC Dolby or IMAX auditorium I’ve experienced so far. The auditorium was exceptionally clean. The staff here were friendly and helpful. The theater’s spot in CityWalk Hollywood is a huge plus point. With plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment around, it’s easy to make a whole night out of it. Grab a bite before the movie or check out the nightlife afterward - there’s something for everyone. We really enjoyed our time at Universal Cinema AMC in CityWalk Hollywood and will be back soon. However, one important thing to keep in mind is the parking cost. We visited Universal Studios Hollywood on a Sunday and ended up paying $40 for parking, which felt really expensive! I’m not sure if the same price applies for Universal CityWalk or the movie theater, so it’s a good idea to check the parking fees before you go.”

“Some of the best movie experiences I've had have been at this theater. It is truly state of the art. Of course you have the 70mm IMAX screen, the crown jewel. It's massive, it's beautiful. One of the best screens I've ever seen. But the other rooms are excellent as well. 3D movies look incredibly sharp on the projectors here, absolutely mind blowing. Concessions are convenient because it's largely self serve, so there's never a massive line. The whole thing is a little expensive, yes, so I typically recommend this theater for a special occasion or limited run showing. And don't forget to get your parking validated to park for $5!”

“This was definitely the perfect location to see WICKED: For Good! They had some of the actual outfits worn in the movies as well as a wicked themed Christmas tree out front, which was very cool to see”
