Cute park. A lot of green space. Great for walks.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with mixed-age children who want to spread out across multiple activity zones. Younger kids gravitate to the playgrounds; older children and teens use the basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts. The summer water play area adds another layer for hot days. A relaxed, neighbourhood park feel makes repeat visits easy.

β€œWhat a great place to walk a dog! Big grassy areas, nice paved paths, very little trash to eat, and for socialization and training: an exercise area where humans are making unusual movements. Even without a dog, a great park: covered picnic areas, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, and in the summer, a water play area for the kids.”

β€œThis beautiful lush green park is big, but not very big. Here we have 4 tennis courts, 3 pickle ball courts, half basketball courts, outdoor gym, amphitheatre, swimming pool, restroom and many, many picnic tables. You can play sports, walk, jog, picnic or just lay down on the green grass. There are many free parking around the park.”

Large grassy areas suit dogs on leash, casual sports, and family picnics. A Veterans Memorial anchors the north end. The park hosts weekend community events including swap meets. Picnic tables can be damp in the morning β€” bring a tarp.
