Arrochar Playground

“One of the best playgrounds on Staten Island! Newer equipment includes a large fenced in swing area, clean bathrooms, soft flooring, a large splash pad, and play structures for all ages. Above the play area is a fenced in track, rock climbing wall, basketball court, and turf field. (Play scape and bathrooms are open all day but upper portion with field is closed during school hours as PS 39 uses it for recess). During the summer there are usually games out for the kids by the parks department. Very well maintained park with lots of street parking. Highly recommend!”

“Update review: These 2 problems are solved. They hired Eliazabeth(who cleans the park and makes sure park is safe when she’s there). This playground has lots of activities for kids all ages. They have rubber floor at the swings and doors to close. It has bathrooms. There’s two major problems. It’s not clean all the time. Lots of garbage that your little ones can pick up any time. Homeless man every morning scaring my toddler is another issue. He uses women bathroom, spitting all over the place etc.”

“I enjoy this park and my young girls do too. It's a park for smaller kids. There are benches for parents to sit and a majority of them are shaded by trees. There are bathrooms that have always been clean when we visit. A nice set of sprinklers for the kids to cool down in the summer months. The playground floor is covered in a protective rubber flooring. I like that it's small and there is only one way to go in and out of the park. Makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids.”

“Nice, sunny playground, ideal for fall/spring seasons, they do have a water sprinkler, jut I feel like in summer it's too hot without any cover of trees or awning. Fences all around, clean rubber tiles on the ground, plenty of fun swings, slides climbing nets and bars to let all that energy out, ideal for kids from 1 all the way to 7-8 yo.”
