đ Playa Vista, CA
An unconventional playground with abstract sand-based structures in Playa Vista. Better suited for older children who can navigate the unique design, though supervision is essential due to safety concerns.
Very nice and super clean.. nice place to take pictures and walk around... There's a nice sand area for kids...
đ Family Action Verdict
This playground is better suited for older children who can navigate abstract play structures, though safety concerns with swings make supervision essential. The unique design may appeal to families seeking Instagram-worthy spots, but traditional playground lovers should look elsewhere.

â2021-10 update: they replaced the sand with rubber but the playground she's not have much to do for kids This playground has lots of sand, which is not ideal. Sand gets everywhere. In addition, the structures are not typical of a playground and it is unclear how to use them. My preschooler asked me multiple times, for multiple structures, how to use them. They look a bit like they were designed by an abstract artist. The hills are kind of neat, but the playground does not need to be filled with them. Two would have sufficed.â

âThe swings must be removed. Super dangerous. It swings higher than the head of a 5 year old. Heavy steel. 10 ft leverage. Sharp bolts at the center. I am surprised it is still there. This swing could crush an adult. Designers of this playground seem to have had no kids at all. Thank you for planting a few trees. Without trees, the playground was useless.â
