1 / 2Livingston Park Playground
📍 Belmont Shore, CA
Fully enclosed playground in Long Beach with two distinct sections — smaller equipment for toddlers on one side, larger structures for older kids on the other. Picnic tables available. No bathroom facilities on-site.
I wish I had gotten more pictures! One half of the park is for toddlers, with smaller equipment that will still bring smiles to your kids’ faces. The other half is geared toward older kids, with larger, more detailed equipment for your more mature kids to safely play on. There are many benches to sit on to keep an eye on your kids, and large tables for picnics, parties, etc. As it is a gated park, you have a lot less to worry about when it comes to your children wandering off or running into the street. This park is incredible.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The gated design is the defining feature — parents with toddlers and older siblings can let both groups play without the escape risk that open parks carry. The age-segmented layout means each child has equipment that matches their size.

“This park is so great for mixed ages! Been going here off and on over the past 4+ years. It's enclosed so if you're there with multiple children you can turn your back on the toddler and not fear that they've escaped while you're tending to another child. The equipment meets the needs of a variety of ages too!”

“Came to this place with my friend and his freshly adopted daughter. She had a great time and it was a joy to watch her play. Lots of games and toys for her to ride on and very well-groomed. There need to be more places like this in the entire city of Long Beach.”

“Great place for the little ones.. gated area provides security and the atmosphere feels familiar, as if we all were on the same page.”
