1 / 2Diamond Rock Gym
📍 East Hanover, NJ
East Hanover climbing gym open 20+ years, now in a new facility. Rock climbing parties for ages 6+, zip line parties for ages 7+. Belay certification courses available. 5:1 instructor-to-climber ratio during parties.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for school-age kids aged 6 and up who want a structured first climbing experience. The 5:1 instructor ratio keeps beginners safe, and the zip line add-on makes birthday parties a genuine draw. Toddlers and very young children will find little to do here.

“Had a great time here during our Belay certification course. The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. Instructions were pretty simple, we picked up the process in about 20min. Total time at the gym between the class and us trying out our new skills 2hrs. We could’ve stayed longer but worked up an appetite. We will definitely be back for more, Thanks again!”

“Definitely more kids oriented, but still had a very fun time at the wall. The staff was super helpful and easy to learn from”
