1 / 3Owl's Head Park
π Brooklyn, NY
Expansive Bay Ridge park with paved walking paths, basketball courts, open lawns, and unobstructed views of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and Upper New York Bay. Free street parking. Currently under partial renovation.
Beautiful and spacious park with amazing views of the water and the Verrazzano Bridge. Itβs a great place for walking, relaxing, or having a picnic, and it never feels too crowded. The park is clean, well maintained, and perfect for families, joggers, or anyone who wants a peaceful outdoor break. Definitely one of the nicest parks in the area.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want a scenic outdoor park for picnics and relaxed walking rather than structured play. The views are the primary draw, and they deliver. The renovation work currently reduces accessible space β families expecting a full park experience should confirm current conditions before making it a primary destination.

βDecent park to come relax, go for a walk, have a picnic walk your dog. Sadly sections of the park weren't available due to renovations. You'll find restrooms, skate area. The only parking available is street parking however it is not hard to find. Luckily there's any meters so you can park without having to worry about getting a ticket. This was my 1st time visiting this park, which seems nice and quiet and clean.β

Overview
Owl's Head Park sits on elevated ground in Bay Ridge with panoramic views across to the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and Upper New York Bay. Paved paths traverse the park's slopes, with open lawns used for picnics and informal gatherings. Basketball courts are present, and currently under repair. Stairway walkways on some sections have deteriorated β paved slopes are the safer route. Approximately half the park remains closed for ongoing renovations. No parking meters on surrounding streets.
