1 / 3Flushing Meadows Corona Park Aquatic Center
π Queens, NY
An affordable indoor public swimming pool offering free entry for under-24s and reasonable yearly passes for adults. Families appreciate the good water quality, safety supervision, and swimming classes.
As a public pool, you cannot ask more. Enough lanes, great water quality and the classes are helpful too. People are friendly. The only problems 1. the locker room, kind of small and old, hot shower is available but overall low-end gym quality. 2. Pool temperature is a little bit chilly. However considering the price you cannot ask more. Overall 5 stars.
π Family Action Verdict
This is an excellent budget-friendly option for families with children who want regular swimming access. The pool offers great value with free entry for under-24s and reasonable yearly fees, plus good safety supervision. However, expect basic facilities that need updating and occasional maintenance issues that could affect accessibility.

βThis is one of the public indoor swimming pools where entry is free if youβre under 24. If youβre over 24, the yearly fee is $150, which is still cheaper than most other places. Itβs a great spot for kids, and many families come here. There are locker rooms and changing rooms for both men and women. For safety, two lifeguards are always on duty, and thereβs also a seating area where mothers can comfortably watch their childrenβ

βAlways loved this park. It definitely needs updating/maintenance. Shame they don't have the midway pools in service. It used to be beautiful water pools, especially at the world's sphere. The sounds and water display were the biggest and best features of the park.β
