Game Room
đ Brooklyn, NY
An indoor gaming venue with unlimited play sessions, though most equipment needs repair. Best as a low-cost option when you need indoor space for kids to burn energy.
For $5-8 per person depending on when you arrive, you can play all the games within the game room an unlimited number of times. There are two sessions on each weekend day, so it's not necessarily walk-in and play but I don't think you'll need a whole session's time to try everything out. We spent at most 1.5hrs here. They had classic arcade games such as basketball hoops, shuffleboard, skeeball, arcade cabinets, racing, and jenga. The concept is great but almost all of the games are janky, missing parts or broken. The games that worked the best were the old school arcade cabinets. A decent place to spend some time but I would probably only go once. Industry City is my go-to place to eat and walk around with friends and family. There's always something new to try or experience, especially in the warmer seasons! If I was looking for arcade nostalgia at Industry, I would walk around the top floor of Japan City with claw machines, gatchas, and various vendor stalls. Not prefect but visually appealing for a bit.
đ Family Action Verdict
This venue works best as a last resort for parents needing an indoor space where kids can run around for a couple hours, rather than for actual gaming. Best suited for families with low expectations who just need shelter and don't mind paying for broken equipment. The concept is solid but execution is severely lacking.

âSmelled like a high school swimming pool. Games were clearly for children so if you have children to leave alone to scream in a building for multiple hours at a time while you shop, great choice.â

Overview
Game Room offers unlimited play sessions with arcade games, pool tables, and indoor activities for children. While the concept appeals to families seeking budget-friendly entertainment, many games are reportedly broken or missing parts, and the facility shows signs of poor maintenance.
