1 / 2Gold Rush Farms, LLC
π Easton, NY
Family horse farm in Easton offering 45-minute trail rides, riding lessons, pony parties, and summer camp. Staff and volunteers actively assist beginners. Birthday party packages include horse grooming and party area access.
We recently hosted my daughterβs 7th birthday party at Gold Rush Farms and we couldn't have picked a better place. After searching all over Fairfield County for horse farms that host birthday parties that wouldnβt cost a fortune, Gold Rush Farms was one of the few places that offered exactly what we were looking for β and at an incredibly reasonable rate. Nikki was wonderful to work with: flexible, accommodating, and exactly the calming presence you need when navigating birthday party chaos. Each of the girls got to ride their own adult horse (due to the small group size), and the riding time felt generous β much longer than Iβve seen at other places. They also got to groom one of the horses (Valentino), which was such a sweet and memorable hands-on activity. Nikki also went above and beyond when I forgot to bring an activity for the girls. Without skipping a beat, she pulled out real horseshoes from the barn (sprayed gold) so the girls could paint them. It was thoughtful, creative, and such a perfect take-home keepsake. Beyond parties, Gold Rush Farms also offers lessons and a summer camp, and after seeing how well they run things, Iβm seriously considering signing my daughter up. I canβt recommend Gold Rush Farms enough β wonderful people, happy horses, and a magical experience for kids. Five stars all around! βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ

βWent here with my family and this was anything beyond what I could of expected. When you pull in you don't feel like your in CT you feel like you truly are on a ranch/farm. We were warmly welcomed and the nice part was every person we spoke to was happy to be there and just wanted to help us. It was our kids first time on horses and the trail ride was fantastic and the time flew by. We will 100% be going back again in a few weeks when the leaves will turn over for fall. If you are new to horseback riding, or want an amazing trail ride with welcoming staff this is the place to go. The horses were great as well and easy to ride.β

βThis was a great experience! They were organized and supportive. We had a guide for the trail and volunteers who walked our horses to the trail to get us started, then met us at the end of the trail to guide us back to the stable. The trail is gorgeous and peaceful. It was a full 45 min riding on the trail. Well done! We will definitely come here againβ

Overview
Gold Rush Farms runs guided 45-minute trail rides through peaceful grounds, pony rides for younger children, birthday party packages with dedicated party space, summer riding camp, and bonfire nights. Volunteers walk horses to the trailhead and meet riders at the end. Well-trained horses are matched carefully to riders. Fall visits are especially popular when foliage peaks along the trails.
