1 / 2Roll-A-Rama at the Runway Rink
đ Queens, NY
A distinctive roller skating experience at JFK's Runway Rink featuring a decorated vintage airplane, classic cars for photos, and a range of games including ping-pong, chess, and jumbo Twister.
Super cool day out. They have a small roller skating ring, games to play when you need a break (like ping-pong, chess, cornhole, tic tac toe, a jumbo twister and a few others) and they had a airplane still decorated like the old days that had a bar in it. They had old cars you could get in and take pictures and even old payphones! . I will definitely be going back.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teens who enjoy a quirky, activity-packed outing with skating, games, and retro photo opportunities. The small rink size means it works better for casual skating than serious rink time â the surrounding activities are genuinely half the draw.

Overview
Roll-A-Rama at the Runway Rink combines roller skating with a retro aviation theme â the centrepiece is a vintage airplane remains decorated in its original style, housing a bar inside. Classic cars are positioned for photos, and when skaters need a break, games including ping-pong, chess, cornhole, tic-tac-toe, and jumbo Twister fill the time. The skating rink itself is compact. One review described it as a hotel stopover venue, suggesting it attracts transit travellers as well as locals.
