“We celebrated my 4-year-old’s birthday at The Rainbow Playspace and it was truly a dream. The space is incredibly cozy, warm, and picture-perfect—one of those places where you walk in and instantly feel at ease. What stood out most was how worry-free the entire experience was. Everything flowed naturally, the kids were fully engaged, and the adults could actually relax and enjoy the moment. The sense of community is special here. You can feel the love and intention behind the space, especially through the artists who created the pretend buildings. Those details elevated the dramatic play in such a magical way—my child (and their friends) were completely immersed. This is the perfect place to celebrate any child, but especially kids who love imaginative and dramatic play. Thoughtful, beautiful, and full of heart—we couldn’t have asked for a better birthday experience. Thank You Mimi!”

“We hosted our son’s first birthday party at The Rainbow Play Space, and it was absolutely perfect. Mimi made the entire planning process incredibly easy and truly took the stress out of everything. They take care of everything from decorations to food! We had kids ranging in age from 1–5, and every single child found something they loved—everyone was engaged and having a blast the whole time. On the day of the party, Mimi helped keep everything organized and moving along at just the right pace, which made the experience so enjoyable for both the kids and the adults. Such an awesome spot for a kids’ birthday party. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend The Rainbow Play Space to anyone planning a celebration!”

“The Rainbow is an incredible indoor play space in the East Village. My child absolutely loved climbing the playhouses, playing dress up, reading books & exploring the different rooms. As a parent, I was impressed by the amount of thought and creativity that was put into creating this space for kids. It's also owned and operated by an East Village mom, Mimi who uses the neighborhood as inspiration. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend (it's a great space to rent out for birthday parties too!)”

“This is the best place in the East Village for toddlers. My son absolutely loved exploring the climbing structures and playing with all of the different Montessori type toys. The other families and children were very welcoming and this play space really felt like a community gem. Easiest place to watch my son because he is so engaged and happy. I highly recommend.”
