“We love the playground and the new paved parking lot!”

“The playground itself is nice. Over the five years I’ve been coming here, the crowd of parents has remained the same. Unfortunately, there is a noticeable lack of diversity, and some parents appear uncomfortable when Black children are present. They often keep their children away and stare from the corner of their eyes instead of simply allowing kids to play and make friends. No child is being harmed by playing with a Black child, and no race is responsible for negative stereotypes. Each time I visit, there is usually only one Black mother with her child, and they rarely stay long. Being made to feel uncomfortable or watched simply for existing creates an energy that makes you want to leave. Overall, there is a lot of open space for kids to play. The playground has swings and offers a beautiful view. I just wish it were more diverse and welcoming.”

“This playground is one of our favorite. Good spot to spend your evening or weekend day. Kids can enjoy the all kind of play activities. Also there's set of swings nearby, where kids fly into sky. You can also find Little free library in the church behind where you can pick some books to read while you're kids busy playing.”
