New Venice Beach playground with climbing structures, canopy shade, and paid parking adjacent. Toddler-friendly equipment and a beachside location are the draws. Restrooms next door are in poor condition — use facilities elsewhere before arriving.
The playground itself is very nice! It’s new and has some features that give kids a lot of independence and freedom. The bathrooms nearby are smelly and not the best of locations with a lot of homeless. But… We’ve never had an issue, it’s a high traffic area with lots of happy tourists (all using the smelly bathroom). There’s ambassadors working at the bathrooms making sure things are clean and calm. Which is really nice, helpful and takes any responsibility away from the parents. Some really nice climbing features, a huge slide and shaded areas to hang. All in all a great little playground!

Best for families with toddlers and young children who want modern equipment in a beachside setting. The climbing structures are a genuine step up from a standard park. Sort out bathroom stops before arriving — the on-site restrooms are not a reliable option. Combine with a beach or boardwalk visit for a full outing.

“Good for family. Kids will certainly enjoy the play area. Just near car park. The downside is it is close to the Toilet area. Toilet area is too dirty. I wouldn’t recommend using this toilet no matter what. There are no shops, restaurants nearby with a toilet facility that is open for customers. So do your thing elsewhere 😃. There are washbasins outside to clear the dirt off kids. There is also bike track. So rent a bike and go around the shore. Thats the best thing to do. Lot of artists, paintings, trinkets, palm reading, bike rentals near the shore. A good place for a evening walk.”

“We love this park! Very fun! There was one section of it, however that was covered in bird poop, and there were birds all over the canopy. The canopies is great cause it blocks the shed, but something probably could be done to keep the birds off? Other than that, this park is great with clean facilities and a fun playground to explore.”
