1 / 2Wollman Rink
📍 Manhattan, NY
Wollman Rink sits inside Central Park at 59th Street, open for ice skating in winter and transitioning to CityPickle's 14 pickleball courts in warmer months. Skate rentals and lockers on-site.
My family and I had a great time at the rink, we went on a Saturday, and the place was packed, from getting skates to renting lockers, everything was plain and simple, only downside is the advanced skaters were speeding through people making it hard for beginners to try to learn, other than that I like the place
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 4 and up who want a classic New York City winter experience. The scenic Central Park setting elevates a standard skate session. Younger or beginner skaters benefit from visiting during off-peak sessions when the ice is less crowded. The café keeps non-skaters comfortable throughout the visit.
