This is a great public skating rink. Well managed clean neat. Snack bar and vending machines have better than average choices.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best suited for serious hockey families who can afford premium pricing and don't mind crowds. The facility is clean and well-equipped, but budget-conscious families should expect high costs for everything from parking ($33) to food. Avoid busy public sessions if you want space to actually skate.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Budget $33+ for garage parking with limited alternatives nearby
⏰Bring your own skates if possible - rentals are reportedly poor quality
🎟️Call ahead to check session capacity, though phone service is unreliable
πŸš—Pack extra socks if using rental skates for cushioning

β€œI went here for a hockey game. Parking in the garage is expensive ($33 for about 2 hours) and I'm not sure where else to park. They have a nice large elevator to take you to the rinks and wide stairs if you prefer stairs. When you go In it is a very large open area with tables to sit and eat. The snack bar has muffins, chips, bagels, pizza, garlic knots and some salad choices. Not bad but a few more choices for protein would be nice for our athletes before or after game meal. It is also a little pricey. A regular can of soda was $2. Pizzas start at $19.95 for a cheese pizza but it was good. The East rink where we played was nice because the netting doesn't go all the way around and you can take better pictures of the game. After the game my son said the ice was good so that's a plus. Locker rooms were clean but very small. The pro shop does sharpening and is nice, offering hockey and figure skating equipment. Overall this rink has everything you need to have a great time!”

β€œI was genuinely shocked at my experience here. We came during public open skate but there were children’s lessons happening on either side and middle of the rink so there was only half the area available to skate. The skates were wildly low quality. I understand that rentals aren’t top tier but if you come, bring an extra pair of socks or two to cushion the hard plastic in the skates. The ice quality was horrible as a result of trying to put too many people in too small an area. The price of this place is absurd for the service and quality provided. Don’t waste your time or money.”

β€œFree style sessions are way too crowded you can’t work on any skills without someone constantly getting in the way. 30 people plus coaches is way too much. It should be 10 max. I rather go to city ice where they limit the amount of people.”
