1 / 2Midland Beach Playground
π Staten Island, NY
Well-maintained Staten Island playground with separate zones for infants, toddlers, and older children, plus a small water feature and direct access to Midland Beach boardwalk.
Great playground with a lot of stuff for kids to go on and plenty of benches for sitting. There's also a really small skate park here (no jumps or half pipes, but a nice place to bring a child to learn how to skate), a baseball field, and a handball court. Parking is a bit weird since there's the big loop at the front with "No Parking" posted around but everyone seems to park there. There's actual parking lots but not at the same entrance.
π Family Action Verdict
Families with children spanning infant to primary school age can split across the three zones without compromise. The boardwalk and beach proximity extends a playground visit into a full half-day outing. Watch for unleashed dogs in the broader park area, and the beach itself benefits from a quick scan before letting younger children roam freely.

βThis is a fun summer spot! Lots to do for families, we picnic and play games here. Itβs got lots of walking spots, the beach can be cleaned up some and I would be aware of some dogs not leashed. The beach needs more people cleaning as well. Not a bad spot to relax though.β

Overview
Midland Beach Playground divides play areas by age group across three distinct zones from infants to older children, with rubber surfacing and varied equipment throughout. A small water feature activates on hot days. The playground sits adjacent to the Midland Beach boardwalk, making it easy to combine playground time with a beach walk. Benches and seating surround the equipment areas.
