Paul L. McDermott Rink
đ Manhattan, NY
City-owned covered roller hockey rink in Manhattan hosting three-season adult leagues, kids activities, and frequent open skate sessions on weekday evenings and weekends. A rare dedicated roller hockey facility in NYC.
We need more of these roller hockey rinks đ in NYC. we had one at diglio playground on macdonald ave & ave F it was torn down to make a mixed use park for adults and children. There's a rink on fort Hamilton Pkwy and 52nd street another one in Bergen Beach/paedergat.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children who already skate and want structured roller hockey rather than recreational skating. The organized leagues suit competitive kids and teens; casual sessions on weekends open it to families wanting to try the sport.

Overview
Paul L. McDermott Rink is a covered city-owned sport court hosting organized roller hockey across three seasons. Adult leagues run on a structured schedule; kids activities run alongside. Weekend sessions run most of the day, with weekday evening games also available. Reviewers note this is one of a shrinking number of dedicated roller hockey facilities in NYC, making it a significant find for the sport.
