1 / 3Regal Union Square
π Manhattan, NY
Large modern theater in Union Square with around 20 screens, self-serve butter stations, and clean facilities. Great for families wanting reliable movie options in Manhattan.
It's my first time at the Regal Screen X for "Send help" β thriller & comedy ( not a "true" horror) movie. Overall, my experience is 8/10. Movie was good, great for such kind of auditorium format, but not "Housemaid" good or "Cast away" great. I enjoyed the late night screenings of the movie! P.s. To all the people who are reconsidering seeing a movie in Screen X after reading all the mixed opinion reviews β watch a movie there ONCE and it will blow your mind how different this format is from any other popular formats ( IMAX, 3D, 4DX).
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a reliable movie experience in Manhattan with plenty of showtime options and clean facilities. The theater works well for all ages, though parents should check if their specific theater has reclining seats if comfort is a priority. The bar and dining areas provide good options for longer visits or when not all family members want to watch the same film.

βWhat a big beautiful theater. Only complaint, seats donβt recline. If that matters to you. The popcorn was great and there is even a bar. The staff was all nice and happy. My daughter and I didnβt care for the movie so while our family watched it (loud and fighting movie) we sat and charged our phones in the air conditioning at the bar. There is another seating area as well. Bathrooms were clean.β

βThe Union Square Regal cannot be beat! They've got about 20 screens in there! You can put your own butter on your πΏ as much as you want! The bathroom was spotless, too! They've got elevators, escalators, Now & Laters. You name it they got it! It's a great place to catch a flick. So convenient!β

βI decided to go to this theater since it was one of the few showing the film I wanted to see with decent seats still available for the timeframe I wanted. Since the filmβs running time was over two & a half hours I decided to see it in English rather than reading the subtitled version. When I greeted the cashier who was conversing with a coworker she just had a blank stare. I guess sheβs used to people just buying tickets at the kiosk & not asking any questions or being polite to her. The theaters themselves were on two upper levels seemingly only accessible by escalators. However there was an employee in a wheelchair on the 2nd floor so Iβm guessing thereβs an elevator somewhere I didnβt notice. The woman working at the refreshment counter was a bit abrupt but we all have bad days & Iβll just leave it at that. They also have a bar area for those that are interested. If your film has a long running time & you get there early enough you can have items like thin crust pizza or hotdogs & eat them in a small dinning area which has some seats with a window view. There are other smaller areas closer the the theaters with couches & tables. The theater was clean. The seats were very spacious & comfortable.β
