Very clean ,lots of things for the kids to do including water activities.fresh air ,good place to release stress
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children across different ages who want water play, traditional equipment, and outdoor space in one location. The split water setup means toddlers and older kids each have an appropriate zone. Arrive later in the day on weekdays for the most breathing room — summer weekends pack the space.

“Not far from Red Hook, there’s such a beautiful park! I would’ve never imagined it. When you hear “Red Hook,” you usually think of a dangerous place with crime and junkies. But just a few blocks away, you find yourself in a wonderful park with an amazing view of the city. What a beautiful place!”

“Fun place, pool is 4feet. For toddlers and younger children there are sprinklers and a safety playground...at a nearby location within the park. Always keep a close eye on your children and pets. It gets crowded.”

“There are more people, and the place is bigger. The environment still needs to be improved. It's better to go by later and it will be better. There are not so many people. With the arrival of summer, there are many people in the park. A big tree is being tortured by children and children. I hope someone can take care of it.”

Overview
Sunset Park Playground offers two distinct water zones — a 4-foot pool for stronger swimmers and a separate sprinkler area for toddlers and younger children — alongside traditional playground equipment and open fields. The elevated position delivers some of Brooklyn's best skyline views. Clean restrooms are on site. Summer weekends draw large crowds.
