Amazing artistic technical in a theater-lover's theater. Sightings great, lights, sound...all at incredibly high level. Parking adjacent.. multi level paid parking. When the play is in action the acoustics are 100% isolated from the lobby and street. The venue is very active and The Show Is The Thing. The facility deserves to be a as busy as it is. Floors, seats, facilities are efficient and show the love of being busy... Fun decor but not showroom perfect like the nearby Pantages. IMO: my audience experience is dramatically better at the Montalbán. I watch their schedule as one of my fav locations. Cocktails upstairs and you can take drinks into the theater. Intermission is carefully monitored to the finishing of lines at the men's and women's facilities. Fast scan for entry. Small but friendly & efficient souvenir desk. I love The Montalbán!

“Clean quaint theater. In this adventure, they were serving up some Twenty Sided Tavern. Absolutely worth a show. Adventure with a side of hilarity served up regularly. Even if you know nothing about D&D, they break it down for you in about 1 minute. Also, the pre show slides explain stats in a fun way. Montalban says no pictures, but Twenty Sided Tavern said pics, pics, video, and more pics please! So I obligated them :)”

“I always love coming to this venue. All the sight lines are great, even up in the balcony. Seats are comfy and the shows are always interesting. This recent vist was to see Puppet Up. Saw Eric Idle and Thomas Patrick Lennon there. Would be nice to have a bar on both floors.”

“Caught the twenty sided tavern’s dnd show at the montalban and it was a blast! The venue gives a pretty intimate setting. The seats are a bit on the older side though.”

Acoustics isolate completely from the lobby and street once a show begins. Sightlines are strong from every section including the upper balcony. Cocktails from the upstairs bar are permitted inside the auditorium. Multi-level paid parking is located directly adjacent to the building. Seating shows its age and the production quality consistently delivers.
