1 / 2reSOUND New York
π Manhattan, NY
An innovative multi-sensory art exhibition at Rockefeller Center where families explore interactive installations combining touch, sound, light and visuals across seven stages at their own pace.
The reSOUND exhibition in NYC is an innovative showcase that invites visitors to experience art through multiple senses. This immersive event blends touch, sound, and visual elements, offering a unique approach to engaging with contemporary works. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was not a traditional gallery visit. Throughout the exhibition, I encountered interactive installations that encouraged me to participate directly. I explored pieces that invited touch, feeling textures and forms that enhanced my understanding of the work. Soundscapes filled the space, bringing the art to life and creating an atmosphere that shifted with each step. The visual components tied everything together, making the experience feel like a journey through a living, breathing environment. I really enjoyed visiting this and think it would be a great experience for those who are curious about art and culture.
π Family Action Verdict

βThis was a very enjoyable experience. It certainly not as big as many of the other museums in nyc. But it also has a much lower price point. Best of all if you are close to the Rockefeller center and have been doing things all day it is a great place to stop and take a breather for an hour or two. It is an extremely relaxing experience. With memorable moments. It's not very big but it's well-designed and interesting. Expected to take probably between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on how much you enjoy the experience. It will certainly be on the shorter side for people who just run through things. But if you're the type who likes sitting and thoroughly absorbing each exhibit then you can expect it to take a bit longer.β

βreSOUND is one of the most unique immersive experiences Iβve been to in New York. Every room hits you in a different way. The lights, sound, textures, and moments that actually make you feel something. Itβs creative, interactive, and honestly perfect for all ages. If youβre looking for something different in the city, this is truly worth checking out.β

ββThe immersive media videos and installation works harmonize with the sound to offer visitors a unique experience. And since itβs located in the heart of Manhattan at Rockefeller Center, it was very convenient to plan my schedule alongside other attractions.ββ
